Zambia’s wildlife estate includes nineteen (19) National Parks, thirty-four (34) Game Management Areas (GMAs), two (2) wildlife sanctuaries (Nchete and Sekula islands) and one bird sanctuary covering approximately 233,900 km2 representing about 30% of the Country’s total area.

Zambia’s natural game reserves are strategically positioned and cover every part of the country. Most popular of these National Parks are South Luangwa, Mosi-oa-Tunya, Kafue, Lochinvar, Lower Zambezi, Kasanka, North Luangwa and Nsumbu.
